As both artist and designer, I have moved frequently between the worlds of art and design. I am now spending the majority of my time in the former.
After receiving my MFA in studio art from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago with interdisciplinary studies in visual communications, I established my own graphic design workshop in Chicago. I eventually joined and became a partner in the creative firm Coudal Partners. After relocating to Colorado, I again opened my own design workshop. At the same time, I continued my studio practice in visual art. Despite the vast differences between these two creative pursuits, I feel that each has inspired and informed the other.
In 2016 my studio practice became my priority and is the focus of this site.
